Dream-sequence episodes are a risky proposition for any show, and the decision to pair House with Cuddy is a risk that hasn't always paid off for House (Fox, tonight, 8 ET/PT).
Yet last week's episode, using Cuddy's dreams and fears for the future as an impetus to break the couple up, may have been the show's best this season, which just proves risks can pay off. We'll see if the show keeps the payoff coming, as House deals with heartbreak and his team deals with a bullfighter with a heart problem.
Yes, the relationship between the plots does seem a bit too obvious, at least on paper, but after last week's effort, they've earned back some benefit of the doubt.
?We've reached the season finale of The Bachelor(ABC, tonight, 8 ET/PT), which leaves different sectors of the viewing public with different, competing questions: "Will Brad propose?" and "Who cares?"
