Maria Shriver ended her 25-year marriage to Arnold Schwarzenegger after he admitted to fathering a child with the family's housekeeper.LOS ANGELES - Maria Shriver won't be back.
The Kennedy heiress filed divorce papers Friday afternoon citing "irreconcilable differences" with her two-timing "Terminator" hubby Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Shriver, 55, is asking for joint custody of the couple's two teen sons, Christopher, 13, and Patrick, 17.
The date of the their separation isn't listed, but the former Governor and First Lady of California publicly announced their split in early May - one week before the bombshell report he fathered a secret love child with the family's longtime housekeeper Mildred Baena.
Married 25 years, the Hollywood power couple does not have a pre-nup, TMZ.com reported.
Their combined worth is estimated around $300 million.
Shriver, who traveled to Greece for the recent Special Olympics there, still listed herself as a "wife" on her Twitter account late Friday.
Schwarzenegger, 63, has shelved his movie projects and kept a low profile since admitting paternity of the 13-year-old boy born to his maid just one week after the birth of his youngest son with Shriver.
"There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused," he said in a statement in May. "I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."
